Administration

You can do this by sending us an email with the following information:

  • Your customer number
  • And your request to pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.

This request must come from the email address that matches your debtor details. You can also find and change this email address in our Customer Panel at mijn.qweb.nl.

If you have lost your customer panel credentials, you can request them again using the following instructions: Lost customer panel login credentials

For hosting packages, only the Basic L, XL, and Premium packages can be paid quarterly or semi-annually.

You can do this in 2 ways:

  • You can send an email to administratie@qweb.nl. In this email, state why you disagree with the collected amount. We will respond as soon as possible and refund the amount to your account.
  • Within 8 weeks, you can have the amount reversed by your own bank, which can usually be done via the online banking feature of your bank.

You can let us know by emailing us at administratie@qweb.nl

We will then investigate this and, if correct, refund the extra amount paid to your account.

The prices of domains can be found here Domains.

The prices of Web Hosting can be found here Webhosting.

The prices of Virtual Private Servers can be found here VPS.

The prices of certificates can be found here SSL Certificates.

For domains, web hosting packages, SSL certificates and Virtual Private Servers we aim for a delivery time of 1 to 2 business days.

Available payment methods

Qweb offers the following payment methods:

  • Direct debit (3% discount)
  • Bank transfer
  • iDeal
  • PayPal (3.5% transaction fees)
  • Credit card

These payment options are offered to customers when placing an order.

Domain Names

How can I forward my domain name to a different URL?

You can do this by adding URL records in your DNS settings:

The fields are, in order, as follows:

  1. Name, the part before your domain name that should be forwarded, for example www
  2. Type, the type of record you want to add, in this case URL.
  3. Value, the value of the record, in this case the URL you want to forward to, for example https://www.nu.nl
  4. Value (2nd text field), the type of the record, in this case you can choose from:
    • 0 - an iframe redirect, where the old URL remains visible (this is not supported by all destinations).
    • 1 - a header redirect, where the new URL becomes visible (we recommend this option).
  5. The TTL, how long this value is cached, we recommend 3600.

Please note:

  1. Any existing records with type A or AAAA and the same name (for example www) must be deleted.
  2. Forwarding only works as a destination and not as an origin, so https://mijndomein.nl will return an error.
  3. It may take 1-4 hours for a DNS change to take effect.

Email

It can happen that an email ends up incorrectly in SPAM due to incorrect settings on the sender's side. To investigate this problem, we need more information.

Recommended steps:

  1. Visit https://www.mail-tester.com
  2. Copy the email address that appears on screen
  3. Send a similar email to this address in the same way
  4. Then send an email to support@qweb.nl mentioning the email address from step 2
  5. PLEASE NOTE: It is essential to follow the 3 rules below

Important guidelines:

  1. Send the same email content that ended up in spam, so not an empty email or just "test" in the subject or message
  2. Send the email in the same way. If you normally send via your Outlook at the office, send this test email in that same way
  3. Do not add extra email addresses as recipient or (B)CC — only the @mail-tester.com address

Reseller

Can I become a Reseller of Qweb?

Yes, you can.

Qweb offers various Reseller hosting packages. You can find our Reseller packages here.

I am a Reseller, who invoices my customers, the Reseller or Qweb?

When you are a Reseller, you invoice your own customers and Qweb invoices the Reseller subscription that you purchase from us.

  • You can host a minimum of 25 domain names under one account, with the Basic or Premium package a maximum of 5 domain names.
  • For a fixed monthly price you get more space than with standard hosting packages.
  • Due to larger volume, prices per GB and/or domain are often more advantageous with Reseller packages.

SSL Certificates

What is SSL?

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. This is a protocol that ensures that all information exchanged between the server and the client is sent encrypted and secured.

SSL is used for, among other things, online payments (iDeal/PayPal/Credit card) and/or when data or files may not be intercepted in their original form. You can tell whether a website has a valid SSL certificate installed by looking for a padlock icon in your web browser. In addition, the address will then also start with "https://" instead of "http://"

Each SSL certificate is intended for one domain.

If you want to secure multiple domains under the same certificate, you will need to purchase a Multi-domain certificate or Unified Communications certificate. This allows you to secure multiple domains with one and the same certificate.
